Hey, can someone identify what type of coat/jacket this is?

I saw it in the John Legend video here:
and am unfamiliar with the style of coat it is (the collar and such). Does it have a special name? Can anyone help me out?

Notwithstanding the bottom cap, it looks like black wool. Car-coat length, I think. It has short lapels and a throat closure on the collar. There appear to be offset buttons as if it were a DB but there isn't enough fabric for that (and the buttons look too small).

I'm no good at this game, and people here have amazed with less, but those aren't the best screencaps you could have taken - maybe take some better ones?

I agree. Wool, car-coat length, basic collar.

To the OP, this is a pretty basic non-db overcoat/peacoat. Check your local Express, J. Crew, Banana Republic, Guess, etc. to find something comparable at a reasonable price. You can find this anywhere............
