Forgot I made a throwaway account to see the pictures he had up of them; gorgeous boots indeed! But he made no mention of the fit, I'll do more research in the meantime.
EDIT: Fit experiences of the 11028 last in general will help too.

I have the Herring Gladstone from the same last, 11028. I sz down and went with 5.5 (from US 7D). Last is slightly narrow and elongated.
For reference, I wear 5.5UK in c&j 341/348; 6.5 EG 202; 6.5D Alden Barrie and 7D Leydon; 7D in AE #7. I hope this helps. Good Luck

I'm looking for some quality boots. Preferrably with a narrow last/build. Which of the brands on the Herring website have the best build quality?
If I decide on a brogue boot, should it be a Tricker's?

What style of boot? Tricker's boots are going to be chunky.

While not the narrowest ( they are not huge either) I can heartily reccomend the Herrring Langdale brogue boot. Purchased a pair last week and cannot speak highly enough of the quality of construction, comfort and looks. They are real quality for the money. Made for Herring by Cheaney I believe. I own Vass, Church, C&J, Loakes and others but these are now top of my tree for sure.

Thanks! Could you possibly post any live pictures? I own the Herring Tregony boots and they look very different than on the pictures. (I really love them though.)

Sure. Will do so over the next couple of days when home. I actually have the wide G fitting so the normal F are much sleeker, be sure they are great boots..

Thank you, but I find it interesting you had to go 1.5 sizes down; UK F width is generally equal to US D width, no? I'm generally a 8.5 D US. Would going to 7.5 UK size be a bad idea on that last?

"Black Friday offers seem to be all around us this year, so we have decided to join in. Our superb offer is 20% off all Herring products for 24 hours on November the 28th."

Got that e-mail earlier this evening.
So tempting.
Must resist.
