I was wondering if anyone knows where I could find some information on the limited/special edition neckties that Hermes has made over the years. Does Hermes keep a record of all of their special edition ties? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

What exactly do you mean by limited/special edition? Those are made for specific companies/organizations/events (eg. Hermes for City/Bentley,etc., Hermes pur Tour de France, etc.)? Or those that are available for the general public but in limited locations (eg. apple ties for Hermes Madison, bull & bear ties for Hermes in NYC financial district)?

Yes, both specific companies/organizations and the exclusive patterns that were sold at certain boutiques. (ie. Madison apples, Wall Street Bull & Bears, Bank of America dragons, Breitling watches, etc.)

I know that there are books about the women scarves that were created by Hermes over the years, but I'm surprised no one came out with a book on the neckties.

The special editions of the neckties would occupy a leaflet at most compared to the scarves. If you are speaking of a compendium of all the neckties ever with the coordinating artist and pattern codes, thats a great idea for a blog or something, not a book. (Although I would probably buy it).
