Hello Everyone,

I need some help from some HERMES belt owners. I'm looking to purchase a HERMES belt but i am confused as to the sizing. i wear a 36" in jeans/pants/etc and i wear a size 100/40 in louis vuitton belts, i did some searching and both LV and HERMES differ in how they size on their belts. i would drive to my closest HERMES store and try them out but its two hours away from home and i prefer to order the belt kit online. so can someone help me decipher which belt size i would need in HERMES. thanks all.

Hermes are true to European sizing.

I wear 48 in designer pants and 32 in Hermes belts. I wear it on the second hole (there are three in total).

American jeans sizings are way off and often under stated. Do you know your Euro measurements?

Hope this helps.

Google their store, call them up and say: "Hi want a belt. I take size 100/40 in LV and I wear size 36" Trousers. What belt do I need? Do you have it in stock?" When they answer, laugh like an evil genius and put the phone down.

I swear the internet is making people dumber...

I wear a different Hermes belt everyday of the week (Monday through Friday), and I'd suggest you buy a 95cm...
