If it did not have the take Hermes labelling on it, the tie will be easier to sell and may be worth more. It is a nice tie and the seller would have been able to generate a lot of interest without the Hermes labelling. In the future if the seller lists authentic items, this could put off potential buyers.

"Hermes" is even spelled wrong. It's Hermès.

even if it's fake, who cares? it retailed for $388, it's right there on the tag, so this is a great deal. snatch it up... great deals don't come by every day.

The price is woven into the tie. packaging and the tags look off. it would be funny if it was real though, if someone asked you how much you paid just show them the woven in price

The "price monogram" is hilarious, and I can't believe anyone bothered to point to anything else to establish this is fake, that really says it all.

This tie is a harbinger of the next urban clothing trend.

I think you are onto something. I saw a DISGUSTING pair of D&G (not Dolce & Gabbana) sneakers at a shoe store today, all white with huge patent leather "D & G" across the side for everyone to ooh and aah at -- and another pair with the letters across the toe.

Why not cut out the middleman and just print $680 on the side of the shoes so even the peasants and the illiterates who don't know the meaning of D&G can appreciate your enthusiastic consumerism?

They never have a green tag and never have prices on the label. Its a bad fake. Their original orange tie boxes and carrier bags are sometimes offered for sale on ebay.
