Herman Miller Aeron - Your thoughts ??

Hi

I am considering getting a Aeron as my work now involves sitting for 6-8 hours a day. I am in Delhi, India and the availability of quality is extremely limited. Basically, it is only one, the Aeron. I tried to import a chair but freight to India for one chair makes it unviable. Even the Aeron costs around 1800 USD here, which in India is a small fortune.

I found the chair comfortable but not wow and reviews on the internet are mixed. Maybe my expectation were very high as it costs 10 times my current chair.

So, wondering if anyone here has used it for any length of time, I would appreciate your thoughts.

I prefer the Embody to the Aeron.
Not even in the same league.

Firstly, do a search... Lots of threads covering this topic
Second, call a local vendor, and ask them to test the chairs for a week or so.
