I really like the Rancourts in Chromexcel leather. I was very close to buy a pair a couple of years ago, but the rubber soles were really thin and didn't seem quality. I don't understand how you can put soles like that with such quality uppers.

Bowen owns Alfred Sargent, and has some of its shoes made by them.

Another interesting Loafer/Dainite sole option is the Allen Edmonds Addison, in Chromexcel leather.

More for our American friends as they are not available here. They can be ordered online though.

Cole Haan also did loafers with Dainite soles, but they are discontinued.

I had exactly the same years ago with a Nike air sole, i don't know if Cole Haan and Nike are still doing collabs. They were comfy and great for walking long distance.
