I'm looking at a pair. What is it that you like about them?
Stan Ray fatigues are nice but (it's a matter of personal preference) I really don't like the big Logo, and i find them too thick. I like fatigues but only wear them in summer, that's why i like the light cotton versions.
If i wanted them to be faithful to Army originals i would probably go for Buzz, Warehouse, Real McCoys etc, but as you know i don't like too wide trousers ;-).
I have several "takes" on fatigues that i do like.

Back Number, a Japanese brand (bought them in Osaka), really dig those, nice detailing, but they are pretty slim and almost low rise. Great for summer.

Schott fatigue Shorts. Lived in them this summer as it was so hot. Middle rise.

Uniqlo X JW Anderson, interesting "take", they are in a nice Chino material, they don't have the buttoned back pockets on the contrary to the others. High rise.

And classic Uniqlo Fatigues, nice too as they are quite thin material, good for summer. Pretty high rise.

The ripstop cotton of the camo ones seems quite light and summery. The loose fit is quite a wide leg opening but they slim nicely (from the front at least) when worn in.

Ha yes ripstop is a good option. The Schott fatigue shorts are in a linen/cotton blend so really perfect for heatwaves in the city.

So it wasn’t expected but as I won ^ I had to put a new Friday Challenge up.
This one is probably easier than the previous and could be a fun one. Plenty of options…

So I waited a long time before pulling the trigger… I hoped every year to find one in the sales, but never did, I finally had a small reduction though.

Quite impressed with the quality and detailing of this MiE FP garment.

One thing I would like to buy this season is a pair of Clark’s Original desert boots in dark brown suede with matching dark brown sole. To replace my current pair. All I can find online are dark brown uppers with natural colour soles. Anyone seen any recently in my desired colour scheme? Thanks.
