  • Epaulet x Styleforum Alpine Loden Collection

Loden wool, woven in Tirol for centuries, is known for its resistance to cold and wetness. Our project in collaboration with Epaulet introduces Alpine Loden, a modern 18oz fabric blend of 75% merino wool and 25% nylon, woven in Italy. It's lighter, more durable, wind-resistant, and more comfortable than traditional Loden fabric. Partnering with Rochester Tailored Clothing, we offer custom garments like sportcoats, suits, and overcoats, made to your specifications. Learn more about the Loden collection here.

Been in a Madras mood recently, shirts are a mix of either J Simons and Beams Plus.

I was wearing jeans and a padded jacket today ! it was more like November than June..
We have a nice seasonal weather here, but it was about time…

@Yorky, very nice madras shirts ! I was close to wear one for my Challenge entry, but finally opted for a mint green OCBD.

I prefer button front shirts to popovers now. The photos in front of the lake and sat with a coffee are the best of yours. John Simons patterns are not as good this year in the past.
Nice country vista, wherever it is. I assume Harvey Nicks is in Leeds.

I bought one of these https://www.tkmaxx.com/uk/en/men/cl...p5_i5LeJratw9jCFJ7RoCWD4QAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds which has been handy for these cool but often quite humid summer days. TK Maxx call it an overshirt - would it better fit the definition of a chore jacket - hip pockets for instance? The cuffs are more shirt like though. Can't remember what the BS label called it.
I quite like it (but wouldn’t call it a chore jacket) and keep an eye on a linen/cotton Hackett herringbone overshirt (or light jacket) that is quite similar, yes practical for summer especially with the pockets. RL did a light Jungle jacket a few years ago that was quite in the same category. (@Yorky has one IIRC).

The Hackett Herringbone (has a shirt thickness)
