Anyone have any experience with Henry Torrence for bespoke shirting? I stopped in the New Orleans store today and was impressed w/ the samples, but was hoping to get some feedback before going in for a few shirts (and maybe a jacket pending the quality of the shirts I get back).

On the off chance that anyone is considering buying anything from Henry Torrence, stay away. This man is a thief. 5 months later and I still don't have my shirts. He's been dodging phone calls. I'll be reporting him to the BBB this week.

It's suits, no e, get a life, you put more time worrying and trying to black mail me. Ask yourself who the true looser is Yarema.

Long process (nearly a year), but eventually got my money back after having to resort to getting my lawyer involved. Thankfully, my wife is my lawyer. If his store is still around, though, I'd definitely advise you to stay away. In the process of trying to get my money back, I learned my experience was hardly unique.

Thanks for the advice. Can you recommend another custom tailor in the New Orleans area?

Sorry. Was only in town for a few months for work so I'm not too familiar with the choices there.

Has anyone used Henry Torrence lately?

I am looking for a good tailor in New Orleans to take measurements and perform alterations if I elect to order from Luxire.

Is there a website or location in New York for more information?
