Hi I'm currently in Taipei right now and was wondering if there're any reputable places to hem my jeans here because I'd like to start wearing them ASAP cause I'm going to be here for another couple weeks. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

PS. I'm staying in the Da-an district (I think that's what it is), which is a couple minutes away from Ximending and the Tokyo 101

Try 45rpm on An Ho road (near Cathay Hospital). There's also one in Sogo, but I haven't been. If you are really staying in Da-An district, that will be fairly close. Ximending has a couple shops, too, but is much further than a couple minutes from "tokyo (Taipei?) 101" and said district.

Thanks but just to check, does 45rpm do hemming for other brands of jeans cause I went to another one in Ikebukuro in Tokyo, Japan last week and they said they only hem their own jeans. Any help would be appreciated, thanks again

I would think so, but I can't say for certain. You can call them; number available on the 45 website.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
