Can you guys please comment on the fit of these trousers? Opinions on whether I should have them modified in any way (i.e. narrow the trouser legs, etc.) would be greatly appreciated

Thanks!

Looks like there's too much material around the hip/thigh area causing a billowing effect.

Looks like they are sitting too low on your waist, pull them up a bit to see if it improves the back line of the trousers.

Too much waist material. They look like parachute pants from the 80s. Get slim fit trousers. More importantly, your shirt is way too big. Too much materials. Get that tailored and next time get slim fit or even extra slim fit shirts and size down.

They're never going to fit, return them and get something a lot slimmer.

How ironic, MTM is suppose to fit better than RTW

A good tailor could eliminate the excess fabric.

I am wondering why your front pockets aren't laying flat. The usual reasons are (a) the seat is too tight or (b) the front of the pants isn't actually wide enough for your hips. It might also be an artifact of wearing the pants below your natural waist.

Better pictures would help a lot.

Incotex, Mabitex, Panta, Howard Yount, etc, etc. There's plenty of threads on the subject.
