The coat is listed as a Euro56R, do these measurements pan out for that?

Shoulder seam to shoulder seam, directly across the back: 20 inches. Center of armpit to center of armpit: 23.5 inches. Top of collar to bottom of jacket: 33.5 inches. Shoulder seam to end of sleeve: 26.5 inches.

How would you consider that fit- tighter, moderate, full?

Actually, Euro 56 is equivalent to US 44.  (56 is the measurement across the chest in cm, converted to inches is 22, multiplied by 2 is 44.)  So an actual chest measurement of 47" is a moderate fit.  I would be concerned more with the length.  33.5" from the top of the collar is at least 32" from the bottom of the collar, which is a Long.

Damn, what a shame. I LOVE the look of the jacket, exactly what I've been looking for for a while. Oh well

I guess I'm scared it will be too small, and it's an Ebay auction so I can't return. I know I could always resell but... I currently wear a 48R but plan on dropping about 50 pounds this year, I'm totally guessing it won't fit.

I think that the measurements are indicative of a us 44L.
