Help with tailoring an Indochino suit

    Hello All,

I though the forum would be able to offer some good advice here. Apologies in advance for the poor lighting / picture quality. I received an offer for an Indochino suit from a friend, so I tried it out using their "measure yourself guidelines".

I received the suit and am not too happy with the jacket; so I'm going to send it back to them for a re-make, but I need to give them specific guidance on what I'd like changed. I'm not at all experienced in this area, but my feeling is that the jacket just doesn't fit correctly.

I'm nearly 6' 3'' and weigh 235 pounds. I wear a 48L off the rack and have a 37'' waist, so I have a hard time trying to achieve the taper / slim cut that I would like.

The jacket seems to "boxy" around my chest, and it seems that there is a lot of extra material under the arms. I think the button stance is too high on the jacket and think that both the chest and mid-section could be taken in 2-3 inches. This is all from a complete amateur's point-of-view, so all advice is greatly appreciated. Thoughts? Thanks for the help!
