Help with socks

Could anyone please suggest a well made quality sock, not luxurious cashmere or silk, that is modern, stylish, and long.
My dilemma is that I'm unable to find many socks in my size. I wear a size 47-48 but very often because of my large calfs and long legs, nearly all OTC that I try are just that little too short.
My sock wardrobe consists of Gallo and Falke, however the Gallo are too short and the Falke are, well.....just Falke, that is, dull and boring
I am looking for the German construction and sizing of Falke with the Italian styling and fun of Gallo. Can anyone please help me?

Try Mes Chausettes Rouges - they have sized OTC socks (Gammarelli & Mazarin) upto size 48
