    Hello all,

Need some helping putting together a shirt/tie combo for an upcoming wedding. Will be wearing a grey suite, allen edmonds walnut shoes and belt. I'm a slimmer guy so looking for a slim tie. I like the tie below but wasn't sure if it will look strange when combined with the shoes/belt as they are different tone of brown. If you all have any other recs, happy to see them as well. Thanks!

Try a grey repp tie or black knit tie and a white spread collar dress shirt.

lt will look good with a light blue shirt, pink, or white shirt and dark blue or red tie.

Thanks guys. So I'm also looking at the following combo... Does this work better?

Grey suite, light blue checkered shirt, dark grey tie, brown belt/shoes.

How grey is that suit? Not a fan of brown shoes with a grey suit at all...

I'd go black shoes, no belt (don't wear a belt with a suit), white shirt and navy tie.

For a ceremony I advise you a white or pale blue shirt with a french collar. Cuff links would be a stylish and smart detail...if you link them. Grey/navy patterned tie but I'd go with black shoes and black socks...I'm not a fan of brown shoes with a grey suit, especially if it's not a dark grey...

daytime or evening wedding? evening = black shoes, daytime = brown shoes acceptable (depending on shade of shoes and suit)

    how dark is your suit?

white shirt is the best, light blue is sort of business but acceptable
