Help with pairing shirt and tie with light grey suit

Essentially I bought a light grey sharkskin suit that looks similar to this http://www1.macys.com/catalog/product/index.ognc?ID=449323&CategoryID=17788#fn=sp=1&spc=125 . I will be attending a wedding and I plan on wearing either a paler pink or lavender shirt (closer to this color http://resources.shopstyle.com/sim/...shirts-1mx-modern-fit-spread-collar-shirt.jpg).

I wanted to find several tie and pocket square combinations with the two shirts. As of right now for the pink shirt I am considering a similar pink plaid pattern with white, red, silver, and dark grey cross patterns that I was planning to wear with a darker red solid pocket square. As for the lavender shirt I was considering a tie similar to this pattern http://www.express.com/silk-tie-plaid-37744-76/control/page/15/show/3/index.pro#jsLink with a plum and black as main focal colors with a light blue and white cross patterns with a white pocket square or more tight plaid pattern with a mix of plum, lavender, and lilac diamonds with white and orange cross stitching with an orange pocket square. I'm afraid I am being too analogous in the color of the ties.

I forgot to mention that I also have a diagonally striped tie with silver in the biggest portion with small maroon and pink lining a white portion

If you were to go with a paler pink, maybe a navy blue tie of some sort (grenadine, polka dot)? It might not go with a red PS though.

The red PS is not a must, I was just throwing out ideas that I had in mind, but please feel free to throw out some as well!

I personally wouldn't feel comfortable in the azalea; it's a little too much for my tastes. Apparently, green and grey are good colours to go with lavender. There's a thread on it in the forum: lavender thread I would probably go with a plaid. Otherwise, the CT website has some examples of ties that go with lavender. You just need to select the purple shirts and you'll find them. You can do the same with pink shirts as well if you're still thinking of going that route.
