Hello Stylegurus!
I'm hoping for some help with my little endevour to buy a new wardrobe for my move to London, while I transit through Hong Kong.
A quick rundown for you: 'm a fat guy. Yes, I'm sorry, but all the more reason to be clothed! Thus XXL sizes are needed. I also want to keep it fairly basic. Uniqlo, AA and other "non-branded" brands are the kind of thing I'm after.
I know there's a UNIQLO here, and there are plenty of 100HKD fake chuck taylors in the markets, but are there any other places you'd suggest?
Also, I don't have any winter-wear -- what do you suggest I get? I'm thinking of having a made-to-measure peacoat or similar made up by a tailor.
Any general HK shopping tips of course will be appreciated too. TIA!
