Help with messenger bags...

Another direction to go (and the one I went after being convinced by a salesman), is to get a flight bag.  Mine is by Lambertson-Truex and big enough for a legal pad and documents as well as pouches for PDA, phone, etc.  It's not as large as a traditional messenger bag and, therefore, a little less obtrusive.  
Where did you buy the Lambertson Truex messenger bag? There's an item on the website (matte crocodile card case) in which I'm interested and you can't buy direct from the website. Thanks.

The IlBisonte D249 is a very nice bag. I have a similar Il Bisonte style bag. I have seen the D249 after a few years of regualar use and it ages wonderfully. The cost is 900.00 dollars.

I am looking for a more knock about bag and the Timbuk2 caught my eye. The problem I suspect is when the nylon messenger is not full with stuff it looses it shape and can be troublesome to carry.
