thinking about picking up a brown suit, pictured here: http://www.auspiciousdeals.com/nd70d.jpg (actually, it would be my first Oxxford suit, as well). The office i'll be working in is a little more casual, and we'll only wear suits on eval days, or when in contact with clients; thought i'd get something a little more subdued for the suburbs/ smaller city work. what kind of shoes can i get away with? think i can wear a chestnut/ lighter brown wingtip, or should i stick with a dark brown shoe? jeez, this is a little tougher than grey or blue suits...

Very nice looking suit, Foxx.

As for shoes, I think either brown would be great. Would depend on what color furnishings you chose that day...
