Help with a pattern, please!

You guys are the best at matching, but I am still learning.

I am heading out to buy some new trousers this afternoon and I would love some advice on colors that would look nice with this sport coat.

Anyway, any help that you can give is greatly appreciated.




tl:dr = What color pants would you wear with this coat?

charcoal grey, navy ...

I figured Navy was alright, and seems to look good. I was not totally sure about the charcoal b/c the sport coat is more mushroom colored. So it is like gray with a brownish mixed in there. Would that still be okay?

Given the color I see on my screen ... I'd say yes.

Of course there are warm greys and cool greys. Before you buy you might take it with you to the store and try pairing it with each to see which you prefer.
