Help taking apart a watch

I found some old Bulova watch in my basement and i want to take it apart and clean it up only problem is im not sure how to get it apart this isnt the watch but the way its held together is the same

and im not sure how i would pry it open any help *sorry digital camera usb is missing*

it seems like the back goes deeper into the watch and i cant get it in to pry it open

is there some specific tool to use?

I believe the correct tool is called a case knife. The guys over at timezone could probably be of help and give specific instructions on removing the caseback as well as maintenance.

Some movements can only be held at certain positions, and will be damaged if held incorrectly.

No. I can't seem to get it and i don't want to force it and break something.

Its self winding if that helps.
