Hi, I was hoping someone might be able to help me identify these Church's shoes and tell me a little bit about them. I assume they are vintage, but have been unable to find anything similar with the label running the length of the shoes as opposed to width wise.

I have read that there is usually a model name inside, but there is no name, only a series of numbers. Is one of those the model?

They are stamped 95 B on the back, which I gather is the UK sizing.

Thanks in advance!

Good for burning whatever they might have been called last century.

I don't understand the comment, sorry.

not quite sure what is difficult to understand but:
  • They look very old and could well have been in the last century ie the 19xx
  • They are crap and should be burned accordingly.

I thought that might be what you meant but since it wasn't a very helpful comment I hoped I might have misunderstood.

I like them and wear them, even though I assumed they might be men's shoes. The soles are pretty worn, I realize.

Maybe not what the well-dressed-man-about-town has in his wardrobe, lol, but they work for me.
