Bought a pair of RLBL anthony wool dress pants (32"). I usually am fine with how their shirts fit me (small/15.5). But these dress pants that I bought feel really baggy. They are good at the waist but it seems like there are too much area past my thigh area. I have a very reliable tailor but what do I tell him? Oh wait, I guess I could say what I just said here. But to finish my thought, I usually wear 32" HUGO BOSS slim fit (RED) and like how they fit all around. What do I need to get done? By the way, Ralph Lauren store tailors suck.

Please ignore the tennis shoes and awkward stance. Long story. Please throw me some suggestions on what needs to be done.

Do you have a question? If you are clueless as to what needs to be done, bring a pair that fit you as an example.

You tell your tailor to slim the legs and perhaps hem them if they are too long.

Isn't RLBL Anthony Wool Dress Pants supposed to be "slim" fit already??? This is what it says in the description:

Elegant pant tailored in Italy for a trim, contemporary fit in seasonless wool.
    • Medium low-rise belted waist with finished curtain waistband and adjustable side tabs, dress-pant fly with interior elongated button-tab.
    • Flat front, gently tapered leg. Angled hip pockets, buttoned back welt pockets.
    • Bemberg lining past the knee for durable comfort. Unfinished hem ready for custom tailoring.
    • 100% wool. Lining: 100% nylon. Dry clean. Made in Italy.
    • Alterations available in Ralph Lauren retail stores.

Agree it looks fine, it's not exactly slim fit, more like a cross between a slim and straight cut. just hem the pants and you're good.

If you like nuthuggers, try Mabitex.

My tailor actually talked me out of getting anything done on my pants. I was like, "How is this helping your business?"

They look alright to me.. Maybe they could use some hemming and taper from the knee down? But I don't think I would slim the legs anymore.. Although I guess you could take in half an inch if you really felt like they're too big.

I don't think they look baggy at all. Get them cuffed an you are good to go.

They look fine, perhaps a tad long but it depends on what you like. The hip looks good.

The pants are no more baggy than the shirt. You may want to have them both slimmed, and have the pants shortened.

I shall see how they are after I dry clean them. This picture was taken before the first dry clean. I suppose it will drink a bit. But more than likely, I'll take an half-inch off.
