Help out a Friend.

I would like to ask any of you to help a friend of mine, his name is John. He has registered to be a member but is having difficulty logging in and his patience to fix whatever problem he is experiencing has expired, I think.
He is traveling to Southeast Asia in the near future and has extended his trip to include a week in Japan. John is a Landscape Architect and he works on big projects worldwide. I tell you this because his sence of design is unique and his mode of dress is very esoteric.
He wants to know where to go when he gets there, shops, food, sites of interest etc,etc. I'm not sure which cities he will visit but maybe you could give him some suggestions.
I know he is lurking, so invite him to get beyond his difficulty of getting in and I'm sure his points of view in all topics will be interesting. Thanks in advance.
