Hi All,

I picked up a lovely pair of JM Weston Conti's off the B&S forum.

I am having an issue with them at the moment. I'll try to convey what this is through a picture:

If you refer to the above, you will notice that there is a grey area along the top edge as well as a stray piece of string sticking out. This string is a lot shorter now as I cut it. Basically what is happening is that pieces of fairly thick black thread have been coming off. I am concerned about both the cosmetic (shouldn't be grey) as well as structural integrity of my shoes. The string is quite thick and is connected from one end (begining of grey area close to where the edge meets the tongue (not sure about correct shoe terminology

) all the way until the the part right above the heal.

Has anyone had this happen before? If so, how do I stop the rot?

Cheers
