I can't get rid of it. I got a new one and they told me they would take care of selling the old one within 90 days. This was almost a year ago. It is a very nice place in Colonial Williamsburg and you can change the location for one anywhere in the Interval system. This is turning into a total ******* headache, anyone have any experience with this?

Drunks are highly susceptible to aggressive, relentless sales pitches from attractive women. Do you want to buy it or not?

Time shares are a big waste of money. I have no words of encouragement nor can I help in any way. I knew that and yet still clicked on this thread. It's the SF way.

Depends. My parents bought in one Vegas in the 80s. Fully paid up, and despite the annoying monthly "maintenance fees," it's been a good deal. They've successfully exchanged time all over the world, including Paris, Portugal, Austria, Sedona, Hawaii, etc. Does require a good amount of lead time, however.

OP, no clue how to help you. Is the timeshare outfit contractually obligated to help you in selling your older timeshare or was it a good faith promise by an attractive, but aggressive sales woman after having served you a few midori sours?

A guy I know had a similar situation. He called 1-800-sellmytimeshare or something and they unloaded it for him at a pretty steep discount.

I think some savvy financiers are packaging timeshare tranches into collateralized structured vehicles. You should look into it. I hear the top tranche gets Four Seasons rating.

What possessed you to buy a second time share after all the advice that they are money pits (unfortunately, as you are learning about the first one)? Haven't you read the interwebz?

Maybe you stand a better chance swapping it to another destination and keeping or selling that one?
