    Chiseled/elongated shoes should be reserved for the fashion forward. Frump wear needs a Peter last. Or banana.

    i dont disagree per say.


    i would say they do not. hallams are a straight cap toe. edgware are a medallion whole cut. totally different look imo.

    go buy a pair naow :)

    FWIW, I wear monk straps, depending on their style, in lieu of either loafers or derbies, and I, like you, prefer sleeker, longer-lined shoes (purely personal preference). For reference, check out my postings of this week - I wore my Finsbury black wing tip monks with a suit. See if it is a look that you can live with (or like, even).

    i would say get suede and dont get monks. you have other shoe needs that are more important than getting monks
