Ok here is the deal, this jacket is cheap 100% polyester.

And yet..I am addicted to wearing it because lately I started tohate wearing baggy coats and I really like the fit.

The problem is that it's embarrassing to wear it to anything besides an outside soccer game.

I was thinking of just buying a pea coat and decided against it since every second guy on campus wears one and I don't really want a double breasted coat.

I do want a similar material though something like 100% wool or cotton and something that would look "appropriate."

Basically something pretty short (ending not too much below the belt) and non beggy (like well fitted pea coats) but single breasted and preferably with "natural" standing collar. My budget is something like jcrew but I'm open to all options.

Thanks.

So freaking blurry

It's very hard to see what's going on with that coat. Try wearing pants and a shirt underneath that are lighter so it'd be easier to see. Also use flash if you can, or get more lighting in there. If using a digital camera, try playing with the ISO settings and if possible, use a "Portrait" or whatever equivalent mode. These should help to pick up more detail on the coat so we can make some kind of call.

Hopefully that helps you, so we can help you...

Technically I could...but the only thing I wanted to show in the pictures is that the jacket like a track suit is not baggy anywhere. Tight fit around the shoulders/chest/stomach.

Basically I want this:

But trimmer/shorter/tighter fit.

Ah >< this is driving me nuts, did no one encounter single breasted pea coats here? I see them around quite a lot and yet I can't find them anywhere besides j.crew (fitting issue)
