Help me recreate this style: Blue faced Omega watch with red leather band.

You can't replicate this style and this is not a "designer" watch.  Of course you can imitate this style, but trust me imitation is going to be just that: an attempt to look like something authentic while clearly not being it.

Well, here is my Frankenstein.
I am very pleased with the outcome, and look forward to years of use and abuse.

I elected to go with contrast stitching on the band, which I prefer over the Omega styling.
I put this combination together for under $100. (Watch, strap, clasp)

I'd like to thank Apollo for helping make this happen.

Very nice. I thought, from a previous post that you were looking at a replica. I believe that's a Seiko, correct? (can't quite tell) A real Seiko is better than a fake anything. I have a couple Seiko Divers that I have beat the crap out of and they have held up like champs. Great value for the money. Nicely done.

I believe that's a Seiko 5. Great movement. I have one of those.

Also great look! I might think about doing this myself!

I think these Seiko 5 would be about as ideal as possible, personally. It is 38MM with dark blue dial. SNX113. Is likely the watch I plan to use for my project.

I have decided to replicate the replicate as a pet project - I will either keep it or as a birthday gift for a friend.
