Absolutely the Lloyd's. This is an easy one for SF to answer.

The patina on the Lloyds is fantastic, though the Berwick would probably be more versatile than a tassle loafer, especially if they're you're first pair of real shoes.

Edit: As has been pointed out, the links are the wrong way round, so invert the names in my above post...

You have the links switched around, I think, but go with the wingtips.

Get the Lloyd (the brogues) - far more versatile, and much better condition IMSHO. It's always better to wear laced shoes with a suit.

Then get yourself a pair of plain, black captoe balmorals (AE Park Avenue is always acceptable and often on sale somewhere, or you could save up a bit and get a pair of C&J seconds - the Connaught, for example, to upgrade to a better shoe).

Personally, I would go with the lace ups. In my opinion, those will work better with a suit, but can be worn with slacks and sport coat also.

Lace up is the more versatile of those two shoes.

+1. First shoe should be lace-up. I say this as I'm wearing AE loafers with a suit. But that's because I'm a rebel without a cause.

Another vote for Lloyd's (the lace-up, right?) Not a fan of the tassel wingtip, else I would own a pair.

Wingtips. When I bought my first pair I was positively shocked at how often I found myself reaching for them. Really a versatile shoe.

+1 on the llyods, they look fantastic. I think they should be a little more versitile than the loafer.
