this shoe was purchased at salvation army for $8.00 25 years ago.
It is most comfortable shoe I ever wore.
I wore hole in sole. after sitting in closet for 5 years I found a cobbler in charlotte NC who "rebuilt" the shoe.
He put whole new leather sole and heal and the bottom inside the shoe.
Magnificent craftsmanship.

I have worn for three years now since.
He said it was an expensive shoe, but could not tell me brand or anything.

the shoe is a brown lace up with the "wing-tip design .
it is a very low profile. or a very thin shoe.
soft as a glove
leather sole and heal.

inside it has 12 C 808310 1
under that is 8032 A3

Is there any way to identify this shoe.

so why don't you just post a pic of your shoe?
also do you have a pic of the original heel nail pattern?
