Overprinted denim, low waist boot cut?

But, unfortunately, the difference between Lang cuts isn't so extreme to tell by a few photos... but if I had to wager a guess, that is it.

Looks like a pair of overdyed bootcut with custom distressing. I bet that you won't be able to find this wash anywhere. Someone in the costume department probably hand distressed the jeans.

I think the classic boot cut fits looser through the thigh.

The "Contour fit" is more fitted in the thigh, so perhaps the model is

Overprinted denim, low waist contour fit

Unless you guys are seeing something different, the "overprint" is just the website/picture-taker's watermark.

No, overprint is an effect in some Lang jeans (that's what it is called on the tags) and means that the jeans denim is one material, which is then overprinted/coated in a different color/texture.

For example, I have a pair of white HL jeans that are "overprinted" in navy, which makes them look on the outside like regular navy jeans. However, as they age, the whiskering and wear allows parts of the white to show through, which gives them a unique look.

Hi!

Is it really called 'overprint' or is it called something else like 'black coated denim' ie a different colour coated on the original colour.

Also, anyone here have any idea how to distinguish between Helmut Lang mens' jeans from that of womens'? Is there a special code etc to do so?
