Help me ID these Benchmade in England Ralph Lauren Shoes

I have a couple of pictures. They are labeled bench made in England. The heel pattern looks similar to a C&J, but it has double nails. Also the writing in the interior does not seem to be typical C&J. The seller claims they are from the 80's. Please let me know what you think.

I barely know anything about this stuff but the double row of nails suggests AS, though perhaps if they are older I don't know. Also I don't see any recognizable C&J last number anywhere which would suggest they're not CJ.
