My father just retired and wears the worst clothes you can imagine and I want to surprise with some nice, kickin' new threads. He wears old pants with rolled up legs and he puts tape on the holes... He wears old, worn out shirts. He wears old, ugly sneakers. Socks with holes in them. T-shirts with wolves on them and crap. Etc. Basically old JCPenney and Walmart type stuff. He's not poor, but he's cheap as hell and couldn't utterly care less what he looks like. He's somewhat short at 5'7 and "stout" (aka a bit overweight but not obese). He's also not the suit and tie kind of guy. Especially now that he's no longer working. I want to help him look like a million bucks but without spending a million bucks. I want to buy him some stylish (but age appropriate) shirts and pants, a nice pair of shoes, a belt, and maybe a hat. And I don't want to spend more than a few hundred dollars. Can anyone give me some tips to help me with accomplishing this? Like what store collections I should look at? It will be very much appreciated!
