Help me decide my third suit color/style

So, I had a modest suit collection but I was overweight, and lost 30+ pounds over the past year (approaching 40 pounds lost and "obsession zone"). Anyway, I'm rebuilding my wardrobe with the help of SF. Right now I only have two suits that fit (I'm 36S and like slim fits), both I got on sale, a medium gray with a touch of blue and a dark brown. The dark brown looks like I'm some sort of producer, and is cool but not terribly practical.

I wear a suit every couple weeks or so for presentations and meeting clients - not everyday wear.

What's the next color? I have my eye on charcoal gray, but it seems so severe and maybe out of season. Would light gray work better? I wish I could get one of those black Dior Homme suits, but from what I hear here black is never practical. I could pull off a tan or lighter color, since I'm in the marketing/advertising business but don't know if that's pushing it for a third suit.

Sorry for the rambling post. Stream of consciousness?

Thanks in advance!

Agree with navy or charcoal. If you want something with a bit more pizazz than plain navy or charcoal (given your industry), consider a windowpane, perhaps, or maybe a glen plaid.
