Hey guys/gals, sounds strange but I've never had a pair of Vans before nor never been a fan of any slip ons. However, they are finally growing in me and I like to have one for myself. I'm thinking of getting BOTH Vans Authentics and slip ons, but don't know which color to get.
Which color will be good with jeans? (mostly raw denims) I'm trying to avoid white color as much as possible because majority of my shoes are white and want to try something else. I searched and many of you guys recommended black on black slipon, but I'm not feeling it.

I'm digging this one, but I don't know if it would look ok with jeans. blue shoes with blue jeans?

or greyish, brownish colors, just to many to list. If anyone have any pics of actually wearing their vans with jeans would be great. Thanks

Bone white is the off white he's talking about. It's hard to find in stores like Journey. Use zappos

I have the bone white chukkas, and they are on point. Some great Vaults at Oki-ni on sale right now as well. And the Prison issue vaults in the parly grey checked Maharam fabric at www.sportiela.com are definitely the business.

If you want to wear them w/ blue jeans, I'd go w/ the espressos. I had a pair of blue slip-ons or lace-ups from age 5 to 25 and always loved them, especially the lace-ups (particularly when playing kickball!). They go great w/ khaki shorts or pants.
On second thought, if I were to get a pair of brown sneakers, I'd get suede New Balances.

I'm currently rocking the black slip-on Vans, but I'm probably going to get espresso lace-ups pretty soon. I've never been a fan of blue shoes.

Personally i think y limit yourself to black white and grey. I think that red authentics are so fire. especially with grey jeans, and they work with black jeans and blue jeans

Navy for the authentics, and black for the slipons.

I personally love Vans Old Skool. Slim, sleek profile without making your feet look dainty like Authentics and Slip-Ons seem to do. A black or white pair are classic.

Just my opinion, but Authentics and Slip-Ons always reminded me of the sneakers my mom used to buy at Kmart.
