Help me decide between these leather jackets (fit pics)

Hey guys, decided to pick up a leather jacket..
These are two in my price range i like...

This is one i found in a department store, I actually bought it but can take it back if i decide to get the other...


And here is the french connection jacket

the french connection one doesnt fit as tight, and felt a bit less rugged as the first one...


Can anyone give me there opinion ?

Do they have a size smaller on the french connection?

they didnt, they only had the XL, so theyd have to order a large for me to try on.. which i may get them to do...

If you can get ahold of it, this may not be a bad option, theshoulders will probably fit cleaner.

pockets on the 1st jacket seem too large.

The second jacket is much betta. try getting it in your size.

I totally agree with this. The second jacket looks better, most notably because of the pocket design.

That article was laughed at by every leather jacket board I belong to, it was written by a clueless monkey with the intelligence of the banana he was eating while typing the moronic article.

I am no expert on the subject of leather jackets and found the article quite helpful. Care to point of its flaws?

i own the french connection jacket...its a great jacket, i applied some leather conditioner to it and its as soft as butter now...i sized down one for a better fit too...

the only thing that kind of annoys me about the jacket is the collar...i typically put it down tho

Ive ordered in a size down, but im wondering where the sleeves should sit on my wrists - i have pretty long arms.
I dont wanna buy too small and regret it, but i dont wanna buy too large and look sloppy

the sleeves in yer pic look a little long, so if you got a size down I bet they end up just right
