How's it going everybody? This is my first time posting in the forums, but I lurk whenever I get curious about something. After browsing the "Official Affordable Swag Thread" thread, which was awesomely helpful, I got a certain takeaway which I wanted to post here and get some critique and maybe some advice as to creating the look in after; maybe some experience in certain brands as far as durability and fit, stuff like that. I've always wanted to attain a certain look without throwing away a ton of money, and I want to invest time into putting together a respectable wardrobe, while at the same time sticking to the principle of less is more. So without further ado, here are some of the takeaways: -Raw denim is the best denim. And it will last a toooooon of time longer than regular denim. -Buy the sweet expensive stuff first, and then get to the smaller things. -Create your entire wardrobe around certain colors, for example, green, brown, blue, and black. -Get a job as an investment banker so I can buy the nice clothes A couple of questions have risen up though, namely, how do you guys typically wash your clothes? Do the designer clothes last a lot longer? I am looking to get this sort of humble, earthly, but well dressed and sharp look: http://www.pinterest.com/pin/230316968414194001/ http://www.pinterest.com/pin/230316968416889330/ I also love all the James Bond sort of looks. So typically when you want to nail a certain look, how do you do it? BTW, 6', 160 lbs, regular/athletic build.
