I'm looking for a winter jacket that's stylish and warm (enough for Philadelphia winters). I am looking for a jacket/coat that's wool, single breasted, and not full length. Size / length is an issue as I am 5'6" with a 36" chest and 29" waist. Ideally, I want a wool m65 looking jacket. I have a $400 budget, although I'd prefer to spend less than that. These are what I'm looking at now:

1) Harris Duffle by Spiewak $150ish

Unsure about fit and warmth

2) Cole Haan wool-cashmere 4 button coat $305

3) Rogues Gallery Short Duffle $420

I really want this Cole Haan item if it weren't $675

I'm also open to suggestions... thanks!

Cole Haan is not known for quality. Maybe you like the fourth jacket because of the fly front? That probably would be best for your build, though that particular jacket has a strange casual look to it, including far-from-ideal bulky pockets. #2 is the most classic, versatile style. It's always better to try on clothing in person.
