Alright, looking for some opinions on which route I should go for a grey suit. I have multiple pinstripes, plaids, etc in grey, just no solid/textured suits. Would be wearing it for business/church. Looking for Spring/Summer/Fall. Here are my options:

1. Dark grey solid Brioni .Attachment 1681

2. Dark grey DB with slight herringbone Brioni. Attachment 1682

3. Med grey sharkskin Brioni. Attachment 1683

4. Dark grey birdseye Oxxford. Attachment 1684

All are NWT. The 3rd Brioni and Oxxford are about 1/2 of the 1st 2 Brioni's. Price is a consideration, but not a deal breaker. Both SB Brioni's are the Nomentano which I love. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Have all the Navy's covered as well. This is really the only void I have in my suit rotation

I'd take either of the last two. I prefer the fabric of the Oxxford, but from what I can tell of the cuts (really just the gorge and the lapel), I somewhat prefer Brioni No. 3.

In terms of versatility (style and physical comfort), the first is likely the best option.

I like 1. More conservative fabric than 3, more conservative and versatile cut than 2 (I hardly ever put on my DBs).

The Oxxford would also work but I like the darker grey of the Brioni. However fit is very different on the Brioni and the Oxxford, so which one works for you is a huge factor.

I will do a slight edit and offer that you could be like many forumites and buy all of them!

The simplest and hence possibly the best choice is Nr 1. You should always start with a charcoal grey suit. Medium grey and birdseye would be the next thing to move on to after that.

Oh the beauty of simplicity!

I'd go with #3. I think mid to light gray is the best color for a man to wear in the daytime

If you can spend the extra money, go with no. 1. You'll get a lot more wear out of it.
