Beer
Is beer a food? Why not, I'm writing this thread and I say it is. Our beer thread is nice because it lacks the sometime obnoxiousness you can find on beer threads on other forums: yes I know they sell home brew kits at every hardware store and Target in the world, but that doesn't entitle you to look snidely at a bar that doesn't serve fifteen IPA microbrews. On the other hand, apparently buying rare beers (Pliny the Elder?) is a good way to make money as a side gig. The more you know!

Poor Mafoofan, although his troubles drive clicks like nothing else on this website (short of a Black Friday sale). Apparently our resident victim is being forced to move downtown in Manhattan. What should he do? Where will he go? Help him by making suggests he'll inevitably reject before launching into a long-winded rant about epistemological definitions and cognitive learning theories because he just can't say yes.
Dinner
Our dinner thread, while intimidating, is one of the best on any website, anywhere. I dare you to find better - even eGullet or other food specific websites don't add up. And hell, when you're wearing an expensive bespoke suit, you might as well learn to cook Modernist Cuisine, right?
