I live in Malaysia and bought the boots in San Francisco.

Had the shoes since Feb 2012 and worn i think bout 30-40 times since then.

Cleaned the boots once with Obernauf cleaner and used the RedWing conditioner after that. I applied 1 coat letting it absorb over night and then another light coat the next day.
That was bout 2 weeks ago.

Worn the boots twice since then and today i found this.

Should i be worried?

This is the right side.

The left side shows sign or starting to crack.

You should not be worried. Most moc toed footwear, including RW, will look like that.

The seperation is going to happen as it is a true moc toe construction. Two pieces of leather are sewn together and some kind of adhesive is also used. With time the gap is going to grow slightly, but IMO it adds to the look of the boot.
