Hello Classic Menswear! I recently picked up a pair of John Lobbs, but I don't know much about them. They are labeled as "Westminster", but after much Googling, I haven't actually found a product page with information or even much discussion on them. Is anyone here familiar with these? Perhaps the original cost and how old they might be? They are minimally worn and are in great condition, so I'm not expecting they are too old. I've included some photos that have number markings and such. I appreciate any help! Thanks! [IMG]

So far, FWIW, I've figured out they are of the "prestige" line, which I'm not completely familiar with. I've also figured out that Edward Green makes a "Westminster" model, as that's usually what's yielded when I look these up online.

I believe they are the John Cavendish from the prestige line. Runs about it 1750USD currently. No idea how old they are as you can still buy that model now.

Not the Canvedish since that has 6 eyelets and this only has 5. I think the Westminster can only be made by request now.

I thought they might be different. Are by request priced any differently? BTW, these fit pretty good, so I am thinking of just keeping them. I came across these and some Alden 904's for $150. Really on the hunt for some Indy boots though.

Priced the same as other shoes from the Prestige line other than there's a markup of like $100-$200 that's supposed to be charged but almost always gets waived. I've ordered like 10+ pairs of shoes from Neiman Marcus or an actual JL store from by request and never paid the markup.
