How do I achieve this kind of curl thing going on his hair? The guy is asian and so am I, so we have similar type of hair. But I just can't do it. Could someone suggest something other than "go to a hairstylist and ask"

Isn't that what you should do though? They have all kinds of products to give you more volume and stuff. If you can't do that, perhaps you have very fine, limp hair and you can get a beauty salon to turn you on to some good volumizing products. I am kind of speaking out of school, because as to hair, it's been a while since I had any

I'm not asian, but my hair does that. If you have long enough hair, just put a little bit of hair wax in it after I wash it when it's still damp, then just push the hair out of yor face if it starts to hang over your eyes. It usually just dries like that. Not something I really try to do, it just happens.

Try buying one of those cylindrical brushes and using that to make it curl out when you blow dry it. You can buy them at any drug store; I think they are called volumizing brushes.
