Just go on Levis website and look for a style that has a bit bigger than a 27"ish thigh in a 38x30.

If it isn't listed then you can call and ask them.

My initial guess is that you'll want the relaxed fit with some taper like the 550.

I guess I would be open to other brands too but in the price range of the Levis.

Thanks for suggestions.

I am similar in build....except I have even bigger thighs (35 years of bodybuilding and sports plus genetically big legs and butt). I have had luck with Lucky brand relaxed fit...in fact a 38 30 fit me OTR.

However I usually buy 7AM and AG jeans in a relaxed fit and have them tailored.

Also, you might want to look at Cinch jeans.

try the 508 by levis. great jean as i have a similar problem to yours. its a standard straight fit at the top and tapers towards the knee down, perfect fitting jean in my opinion.

lol at above poster.

But if you're trying to be on a Levi's budget...more than likely not the LVC stuff than how hard is it to go to the mall and try on some pants?? specially Levi's. It's obvious you're not trying to spend $300 so go to the mall, jcpenny's, nordstroms, or something

I have the same problem... Normally what i'll do is get levis and have them tailored. However, if you're looking to just buy jeans without touching them...believe it or not, american eagle has jeans with wide thighs that fit fairly well.

Have you tried Levis 501's? They are one Levis best/roomier cuts.
