I know there are other posts about this, but each case is individual, plus, most of the others are years old. Anyhow, I recently graduated college and as such, gained lots of weight....stupid Tudors Biscuit World. (They made me eat the omelet on top of fried potatoes with cheese and bacon.). Anywho, I have always had trouble, even when I was in shape. I recently went to multiple countries in Europe and I love the skinny jean look. Obviously, I just can't pull that one off, but I would like at least a straight leg look. I would probably need them to be tapered since I'm such a fatty below the waste. Can I get some good suggestions for jeans that look fairly slim, but have lots of room in the thigh and the seat?

I am 5'8 and weigh about 180. I wear a 34 waist I believe, but my thighs are nearly 26' and my hips are 42'...or so I am told that is what the ass portion of my circumference is titled. Thanks

Can anyone help with this? I guess I can start with Levi 501's since they are readily available and see how they work, but...

PC rescue should work! Or 501s will do - I like the vintage ones. Or for a more relaxed fit try PRPS - I have impala but I think you could get away with barracuda

Thanks. Oh, I should mention I have a pair of big star that arent too bad, but they are pretty wide down below, and obviously I'm trying to find something a little more narrow below the knee.

    you answered the question yourself.
buy what fits in the hips and have the legs tapered.
just dont go overboard with the tapering.
if you go extreme tapered it will make your hips look larger yet.
