I am looking for a messenger bag for college next year, but I don't want to spend more than $150-200. Is there anything I can get for this budget, other than via thrifting?

Thanks

I've got a Coach messenger for my 15" MBP, and it's great. I had one problem with the stitching tearing the leather on a certain stress-point, but they replaced it no questions asked. The second bag has held up well so far, but I am a bit more careful with how much weight I put in it now, and plan on getting a Jack Spade computer field bag in the near future for my laptop so I don't have to worry about it so much.

I have one from Roots that's held up well. Most of them are 200-300.

I actually loved a few on the site (specifically the Thompson). The only caveat is that it's a tad too much. I like the Jack Spade and a few KC Reaction bags I saw elsewhere.
