Help CUTTING a bad COLLAR

Hi Folks

I bought 2 years ago, when I didn´t use ties a Versace Collection hidden botton down with a terrible collar.

It is so awful with a 4IH that I want to transform into a better collar. My taylor only should have to cut the points and sew the backstitch with the same kind of thread.

I post pictures of straight and computer did image.

I´m serious on it,not a joke, What do you think about it?

That collar, while not the best, has done nothing to deserve such butchery. Seriously, cutting a collar into a shape it was not proportioned for can not end well. Try using different ties/knots.

I tried a lot of ties, but I ended in all as a Mafioso collar kind of the Goodfellas as in my other post about collars.

I do not like that collar man! I would like to mute it in a KENT or similar one.

I wish I knew to sew...

I think it´s easy to transform the " James" collar into a " Charles" collar, only cutting the points,well them woulb be tighter as a sport shirt butbest than using that Shirt to clean dust..

Thanks, you made me think about toake the shirt personally to this made to measure shirt shop and replace the Collar. It was a Versace.. but the worst collar ever!

+1, that collar is fine imo. Have you tried some of the smaller knots? FIH? Prat?

I only use FIH or Victoria! I even tried with the simplest knot Oriental.. but I ended looking as Devito on The Goodfellas. What a terrible collar . It only looks good without tie
