Hi, im new to this forum! I'd like to ask your guidance because I will be (hopefully) graduating soon and i purchased a dark grey suit, which i really like, but I'm having trouble choosing a combination for it. I bought a few shirts and ties which i figured i could wear, but now im not so sure because neither of them really speak to me. I wanted to do green-everything at first so i did buy the square, but.. could you help me choose between these combinations? Also, if you have a better idea, I'm all ears! Option 1 (initial)

Option 2 (im not even sure this looks right, what do you think? what pocket would go with it?)

Option 3

Option 4 (this is actuallly the same tie as #2 but the pic is not so good, think pinkER on both)

Option 5... ??? Im still looking to buy another shirt/tie for my internship, so suggestions are ok (but be sure to include at least one of the options i already listed + your suggestion! you know, in case i cant find your new choice) THANKS for the help! Im a style newbie! Edit: Sorry for the pics being so big

Thanks! I guess so far #2 is winning! Could you offer me other choices besides white pocket sq? Im thinking something more daring (somewhere in the middle between "he's not being creative" and "that's something only a fashion expert would appreciate")

2. the others look like they were bought together to match. You can match with little effort and it wont look like the shirt and tie came in the same box.

One of the reasons people are selecting #2 is because of the contrast between the shirt and tie. I personally don't like the matchy matchy of same color shirt and tie. I like to have a tie that contrasts with my shirt but also coordinates with it. I would actually be ok with the lime shirt in the first picture but I would never put a green tie with it. Also, it wouldn't be a go to often shirt. Just a shirt to wear once in a while. With the lime green shirt, I would probably select a navy tie with a little pattern in it. Like one of Sam Hober's Macclesfields.

#3, tie and shirt are too matchy matchy.

#4 tie and shirt are too bland with the plain suit

I think white PS is a great choice, but if you want to be more daring you could get something in a print (paisley for example) but just try to make sure it doesn't match so much to make it look like you bought a tie/shirt/PS package at men's wearhouse. This might be good ($8 at tiebar.com)
